Player on the court floor reaching for a teammate’s hand — Berlin Dreams

Sports photographer

Close to the game.

Sports photographer in Berlin for matchday, training and clubs. I shoot close to the game and the people around it.

Whether Berlin Dreams on the court or training in the studio: sport lives on timing, sweat and the seconds in between. I stay mobile, interfere little and deliver selects for web, social and the club.

Write briefly what’s coming up — league, event, campaign — and I’ll tell you what’s realistically possible.

My way into photography ran through basketball: at the Berlin Braves, now Berlin Dreams, I learned courtside how fast a game is. Today I shoot matchdays, training and tournaments in Berlin and across Germany — from home games at Sömmeringhalle to THE LGCY SERIES finale in Munich.

What clients say

  • “For two years Mirko has covered our games with the camera — on the court and in the moments before and after. The photos and videos capture exactly the energy that makes Berlin Dreams.”

  • “Mirko is an absolute top photographer! I’ve now had him at two very different events – an elegant dinner and a sporty running event – and both times he really delivered. The dinner photos were first-class: great candid moments, the mood captured perfectly, professionally edited – and all in record time. At the sports event he showed again how versatile he is: really cool action shots, full of energy, always in the right place at the right time. If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only technically strong but also works with passion and a good feel for people – Mirko is your first choice. And on top of that he’s just a really cool guy. Clear recommendation!”

  • “I had the pleasure of working with Mirko for the Capital Run – and can only recommend him warmly! Working together was completely uncomplicated: super flexible, professional and above all fast. The results arrived in no time and captured exactly what I had in mind. On top of that, he’s simply a pleasant guy who’s fun to work with. Any time again!”
